Yangxin Cheng (Yaya)
is an interdisciplinary designer, critical maker, and inclusive designer with a passion for blending digital technology with traditional techniques to create immersive experiences. Currently, she is a teaching assistant at the USC Roski School of Art and Design. Her work explores the intersection of design and storytelling, pushing the boundaries of media to foster meaningful connections and engagement.
My projects integrate storytelling, technology, and spatial design, creating dynamic visuals and interactive, multi-sensory experiences that engage audiences on multiple levels while pushing creative boundaries.
A family-oriented interactive game supporting the mental well-being of children aged 7–13 in families impacted by cancer.
